Talk 1: Mobile Security in the BYOD WorldThe presentation explores the trends, threats, and risks enterprises are challenged with when exploring mobile initiatives.  Organizations are presented with pressure from executives and employees to adopt BYOD.  This presentation explores those challenges and identifies additional risks with iOS and Android mobile devices.Speaker Profile: Gregg Martin is the Director of Mobile Security for FishNet Security. Gregg Martin has over 13 years of experience in IT Security. Gregg leads a nationwide mobile security program that provides strategic direction and thought leadership. Gregg participates in several mobile security advisory boards and ensuring that FishNet Security is well-aligned with customers' needs. Before joining FishNet Security, Gregg worked for Check Point Software Technologies responsible for Federal customers. Before Check Point, he worked at PwC for 10 years. While at PwC, Gregg held positions responsible for Network Architecture & Design along with US Security Services. In addition, Gregg holds several industry related certifications.


Talk 2: Information Security – the COBIT 5 way!ISACA’s COBIT is industry’s well recognized and comprehensive framework for IT Governance and Management and focuses on ensuring that the IT function creates optimal value for the organizations.ISACA has just recently come out with COBIT 5, which is a totally revamped framework. COBIT 5 is expected to get much wider and increased acceptance across all industry sectors. Information Security Management is one of the very important aspects of IT Governance and Management and COBIT 5 covers it quite well.  This session in the forthcoming May TASK meetings will provide overview of how COBIT 5 provides guidance for managing information security and will provide some tips for effective management of Information Security, the COBIT 5 way.Speaker Profile: Name: Ashok SelukarAshok is a senior professional in IT Governance, Controls and Risk Management and currently works as Principal at CSI Consulting Inc.  He holds a Masters Degree in Statistics, a Diploma in Business Management and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Software. His professional certifications include CISA, PMP and ISO 9000 Lead Auditor. Ashok has successfully led and completed many IS Controls related projects at various large organizations (e.g. TD Bank, Manulife Financial, TELUS and Direct Energy) and has conducted several training programs and workshops and has been a regular trainer for IS Audit, Quality Management and Project Management. He also has been an active member of professional organizations/ NGOs like ISACA, PMI and Rotary.Source: task
