Talk #2:The More Things Change: The vulnerabilities that time forgot
Speaker: Jamie Gamble
The more things change the more they stay the same. There have been numerous advances in the security field over the last 15 years yet many corporate networks are still plagued with the same vulnerabilities they were over a decade ago. If a hacker from the late 1990’s had a time machine, how successful would they be at penetrating your network? This presentation will go through a quick run down of the advances and changes in the security landscape. In addition, the vulnerabilities that penetration testers are exploiting today that have been around since the 90’s will be reviewed.
